Associate Podiatrist
Job Details
**Overview**
Face Clinic London is a long-established private medical and aesthetics clinic in the heart of Soho, Central London, moments from Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus. Since 2009, we have offered professional, personalised care and built a loyal client base who value the relationships they develop with our clinical team.
We are looking for a self-employed Associate Podiatrist to establish and grow a new private podiatry service within the clinic.
This is not a traditional room-rental opportunity. We are looking for a practitioner who wants to build a successful long-term service as part of the wider clinic, supported by our established Central London location, reception and booking infrastructure, and marketing and commercial support.
The opportunity would initially be for 1–2 days per week, with scope to increase based on demand.
The service would initially focus on general private podiatry, with scope to introduce and develop additional services according to the successful practitioner’s qualifications, experience and areas of interest.
The role will operate on a self-employed associate, revenue-share basis rather than a room-rental model, with terms dependent on experience, existing patient base and the level of support required from the clinic.
**Key Responsibilities**
– Provide safe, effective and patient-centred private podiatry assessment and treatment
– Conduct thorough consultations and develop appropriate individual treatment plans
– Provide general private podiatry and foot-health services within professional scope of practice
– Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with HCPC and clinic requirements
– Provide appropriate patient education, advice and aftercare
– Build strong, long-term professional relationships with patients
– Maintain high standards of infection prevention, hygiene and patient safety
– Work autonomously while collaborating with the wider clinic team
– Actively contribute to establishing and growing the clinic’s podiatry service
– Potentially develop additional podiatry services according to individual qualifications and expertise
**Requirements**
– Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Podiatrist – essential
– Recognised podiatry qualification
– Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
– Strong clinical and patient communication skills
– Comfortable working autonomously within professional scope of practice
– An interest in developing and growing a private patient diary
– Commercially minded, proactive and interested in building a long-term service
– Existing London patient base or professional/referral network preferred, but not essential
– Additional areas of podiatry expertise welcomed
– Commitment to continued professional development
– Eligibility to work in the UK
If you are an ambitious Podiatrist looking for the opportunity to build a long-term private service within an established Central London clinic, rather than simply rent a treatment room, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Application question(s):
– Do you currently hold active HCPC registration as a Podiatrist?
– Do you currently have an existing London patient base or referral network? If yes, please briefly describe.
– Which days of the week would you ideally be available to work from the clinic?
– What revenue-share arrangement would you be looking for?
– In addition to general podiatry, are there any specialist services or treatments you currently provide or would be interested in developing?
– Please outline any particular equipment or clinical setup you would require from the clinic.
Work Location: In person
