Trainee Dental Nurse

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. **Responsibilities**

– Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
– Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
– Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures and offering reassurance
– Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently
– Ensure all clinical areas are kept clean, sterilised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
– Support administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and managing stock levels
– Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain confidentiality at all times

**Qualifications**

– Proven experience in patient care, ideally within a dental or healthcare environment
– Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
– Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and scheduling systems
– Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
– Proof of enrolment in recognised dental nursing course
– Compassionate approach with the ability to reassure anxious patients
– Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
