Dental Nurse (Full time and Part time)

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. **Role Overview**

As a Dental Nurse, you will work along with our friendly and experienced nursing team. Poulton Dental Care offers general dentistry, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, smile makeovers, composite bonding, Invisalign treatments and Dental implants. You’ll play an integral role in providing excellent patient care while assisting the dentist with various dental procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice and providing support to patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit.

We are looking for both Full time and a part time dental nurse positions.

**Key Responsibilities**

– Assist the dentist in all dental procedures
– Assist Dentist/Therapist in general dental procedures
– Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
– Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of procedures
– Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
– Manage appointments, patient flow, and follow-up care (reception duties)
– Adhere to health and safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements
– Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
– Handle administrative tasks such as stocking supplies and ordering materials.
– Ensure that the practice is well maintained to continue providing high standard patient care.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

– **Dental Nurse Qualification** (National Diploma in Dental Nursing or equivalent)
– **GDC Registration** (General Dental Council)
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Organised, with excellent attention to detail
– Ability to work well in a team and independently
– Previous experience as a dental nurse is essential.
– A positive attitude towards patient care and professionalism

**Desirable Skills**

– Invisalign and Cosmetic dental experience
– Familiarity with dental software and practice management systems (Dentally)
– Post-qualification CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
