Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking for a Full time Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our private practice in Beaumont Street. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is a team player, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Role includes:

– Assisting dentists in carrying out dental procedures
– Caring and supporting patients in their needs
– Providing advice to patients, providing aftercare help, and aiding patients in regular dental services.
– Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments and clinical areas
– Maintaining logs
– Assisting in maintenance, auditing and compliance checks
– Learning and development portfolio and subject to regular appraisals
– Taking part in regular team meetings
– Maintaining premises, equipment and surfaces in a clean, safe hygienic environment
– Maintaining patient confidentiality
– Maintaining efficiencies within the practice
– Abiding by all legislations and practice policies

– Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with colleagues, clinical professionals, customers and management.
– Initiative to continually improve
– Good decontamination and cross-infection awareness.
