Nurse Deputy Manager

Millbridge Care Home is an established 45‑bedded nursing home part of the Talea Care Home Group. The home is located in the pretty coastal village of Heacham, near Hunstanton.

We are seeking a motivated, experienced Nurse Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in leading the clinical and operational delivery of high‑quality care.

**About the Role**

You will provide strong clinical and managerial leadership across the home, supporting oversight of nursing practice, care planning, medication management, staff development, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a confident, organised nurse who can lead by example and uphold safe, person‑centred care.

Hours of work will be 4 days a week, working every other weekend, 2x shifts 7am-7.15pm working alongside our dedicated nursing care team, and 2x days supporting the Registered Manager

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Lead and support the nursing team in delivering high‑quality clinical care
– Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and clinical documentation
– Ensure safe medication management and adherence to policies
– Support audits, quality improvement, and CQC compliance
– Mentor, supervise, and develop clinical staff
– Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
– Act as a clinical point of contact for families and external professionals
– Support the Registered Manager with day‑to‑day leadership of the home

**About You**

– Registered Nurse (NMC) with strong clinical leadership experience
– Confident in decision‑making, delegation, and prioritisation
– Excellent understanding of CQC standards and governance
– Compassionate, professional, and committed to high‑quality care
– Strong communication and organisational skills

Pay: £48,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
