Deputy Manager – Registered Nurse

St Nicholas Village is a specialist multi-service 176 bed facility, registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to provide care and support to individuals across the site. St Nicholas Village is located in Bootle and nestled within its own sanctuary of over 5 acres of beautiful gardens.

We are seeking to grow the team with the addition of an ambitious and passionate Deputy Manager who will be instrumental in the provision of care and therefore, must have a proven track record working in similar position and environment. Leading the team and overseeing the day-to day care activity, the successful candidate will become part of a larger multi-disciplinary team supporting people with a range of individual requirements; Learning Disability, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury, Dementia, Mental Health and Physical Health needs.

This new exciting, fresh opportunity has arisen to be a pivotal part in the development of the service in a time of change and expansion, and the role includes being hands on in overseeing the delivery of care and support to ensure it is of the highest quality.

The successful candidate will need to have a passion for growth, and have an enthusiastic and approachable personality, that will inspire and drive others.

Required skills and necessary qualifications:

· Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN

· A capable and confident leader who is able to maintain standards in the service in the absence of the Service Manager

· Possess good judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Commitment to providing excellent care with dignity and respect

· Able to utilise expertise to lead and support the team in maintaining the highest standards of care within the service

· A positive leader and motivator, and able to approach situation with positive intent.
