ADHD Independent Prescriber (Nurse or Pharmacist) – Remote

**About us**
Focus Gently is a CQC-registered online clinic for adults with ADHD. Consultant psychiatrists carry out assessments, make the diagnosis and start treatment. We’re looking for an experienced independent prescriber to take over titration and ongoing prescribing.

This is a self-employed, sessional role. It suits a prescriber who wants flexible remote work alongside NHS or locum commitments.

**What you’ll do**

– Remote video titration reviews for adults starting ADHD medication (stimulants and non-stimulants)
– Ongoing prescribing reviews for stable patients
– Reviewing home blood pressure, pulse and weight readings and adjusting doses safely
– Writing review letters to the patient and their GP using our templates
– Issuing private FP10PCD prescriptions, dispensed by our partner pharmacy with tracked delivery to the patient
– Escalating complex or uncertain cases to the consultant psychiatrist

**Hours**

– Around 4–8 hours per week to start
– **Flexible days.** You choose your sessions, and we book patients into your availability
– Hours will increase as the caseload grows

**Essential requirements**

– Current NMC registration (ANP or RN) or GPhC registration
– Independent prescribing qualification (V300 / IP annotation)
– Your own private controlled drug prescriber PIN
– Your own professional indemnity covering remote ADHD prescribing
– Recent experience titrating adult ADHD medication in NHS or private practice
– Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
– Right to work in the UK
– A private, quiet workspace and a reliable internet connection
