Dental Nurse

**Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring high standards of patient care, and maintaining a smooth clinical environment. **Duties**

– Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
– Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before appointments
– Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures and offering reassurance
– Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
– Sterilise and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
– Support patients with post-treatment advice and answer any queries they may have
– Organise appointment schedules efficiently to optimise practice workflow
– Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with infection control standards

**Requirements**

– Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable
– Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
– Knowledge of nursing principles applied within a dental context
– Competent IT skills for managing patient records and practice management software
– Excellent organisational skills to coordinate appointments and maintain clinical standards
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative
– A recognised qualification in dental nursing or equivalent is preferred but not essential for internship positions
– A caring attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
