General Practice Nurse

The Park Surgery is a GP practice in Littlehampton. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive nursing team.

This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week, worked across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

While we are seeking a full-time candidate, we would also welcome applications from two part-time candidates who, together, can fulfil the required hours.

We are looking for a team player who is flexible, committed, and passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Previous experience in primary care is preferred.

Skills and Experience

Applicants should be computer literate and ideally have experience in all of the following areas:

– Wound care, including Compression bandaging and Doppler assessments.
– Childhood immunisations and routine vaccinations
– ECG recording
– Cervical screening (cytology)
– Chronic disease management
– SystmOne clinical system knowledge (training can be provided)

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must:

– Hold a current and valid NMC registration
– Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Be committed to ongoing professional development
– Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
