Orthodontic Nurse

**£14.00-£15.00 per hour | 24-41.25 hours per week (pro rata) | Monday to Saturday | Free on-site parking**

We’re looking for a warm, energetic Dental Nurse to join our friendly orthodontic practice. You’ll be at the heart of our patients’ journeys, helping nervous first-timers feel at ease and sharing the moment when a patient sees their finished smile.

What you’ll be doing

– Assisting our orthodontists with treatments, keeping procedures smooth and comfortable for patients
– Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments to the highest infection control standards
– Reassuring patients, explaining procedures and answering their questions
– Keeping patient records accurate, up to date and confidential on our dental IT systems
– Helping with appointment scheduling, reminders and clinical supplies
– Giving clear post-treatment and oral hygiene advice
– Keeping our clinic tidy, organised and compliant with health and safety standards

What we’re looking for

– Experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar dental support role (orthodontic experience is a bonus, not a must)
– Confident, friendly communication with patients and colleagues
– Knowledge of sterilisation processes and nursing principles in a dental setting
– Comfortable using dental IT systems for records and appointments
– Good organisation and the ability to juggle tasks in a fast-paced clinic
– A team player who also uses their own initiative
