We’re looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our growing team!

**What will you be doing?**

As a trainee dental nurse, you’ll be learning all the ins and outs of dental nursing and working alongside our lovely clinical teams.

Your day-to-day will include:

· Assisting our dentists and the wider clinical team

· Getting surgeries ready for patients

· Supporting with infection control and keeping everything clean and organised

· Helping patients feel relaxed and welcome

· Learning all about dental nursing and developing your skills

· Working as part of a supportive team where everyone looks out for each other

**You’ll also learn reception!**

We’ll give you full cross-training in dental reception, so you’ll get experience on both sides of the practice.

**You’ll learn how to:**

· Welcome patients with a friendly smile

· Answer the phones and help with patient enquiries

· Book and manage appointments

· Take payments

· Help keep the practice running smoothly

· Build great relationships with our patients

This means no two days are exactly the same, and you’ll have the chance to build a really varied skill set.

**A role across 4 locations**

You’ll be part of our wider team and will work across our four practices when necessary:

Sittingbourne | Swanscombe | Canterbury | Ashford

So being comfortable travelling between our locations is an important part of the role.

**What are we looking for?**

Honestly, personality is a big one for us.

You don’t need to have years of dental experience — we can teach you the dental stuff!

We’re looking for someone who is:

· Friendly, approachable and naturally good with people

· Reliable and hardworking

· Happy to get stuck in and have a go

· A team player

· Organised and able to keep a cool head when things get busy

· Caring and genuinely interested in looking after patients

· Keen to learn and develop

· Comfortable working across different locations

· Someone who can have a laugh but knows when it’s time to be professional!
