Trainee Dental Nurse

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. **Duties**

– Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
– Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
– Providing support to patients before, during, and after treatments, including explaining procedures and post-care instructions
– Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining organised files
– Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment
– Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence
– Developing knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and infection control protocols through on-the-job training

**Experience**

– No prior experience required; full training will be provided to develop necessary skills
– Good understanding of patient care principles and a caring attitude towards patients of all ages
– Basic IT literacy, including familiarity with computer systems and software used in healthcare settings
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
– Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical environment
– Proficiency in English is essential for clear communication and documentation purposes
